Attractive home tie for the Cumbrians
Carlisle United will play host to Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur in round three of this season's Capital One Cup having successfully seen their way past Championship outfit Ipswich Town on Tuesday night.Full match and ticket details will be announced in due course.
Manager Greg Abbott said: "We said after the Ipswich game that we felt everyone deserved a nice reward and it's fair to say that's come our way with this one.
"It's magnificent that we've pulled a club like that at home and it's one we can all look forward to.
"Hopefully the fans will turn out in force and cheer us on because we don't want to be there just to make up the numbers. We'll do our other fixtures first, as we always do, and then we'll work on seeing what we have to do to give a very good account of ourselves in this one."
