Carlisle United's Academy goal of the month for December - [with the trophy sponsored by Carlisle United Supporters' Club London Branch] - was scored by Reuben Towers in the U15’s game against Preston.
Youth Development Phase Coach John Foley said: "Reuben Towers was signed this season, following a successful trial period, after his journey with Middlesborough came to an end.
"He has scored a number of goals, including vital goals in the U15 Floodlit Cup, and has also provide a number of assists for teammates.
"For this goal Rueben showed his power and strength to break through the Preston defence and finish accurately."
London Branch Vice Chairman John Bowman said: "We are delighted to continue our support for the Academy.
"Reuben showed great composure to control the ball under pressure from the defenders, run clear and beat the Preston keeper with a well-placed shot.
"Well done Reuben!"
