Last weekend, Accrington Stanley defeated Port Vale 5-4 away from home recording their first win in seven matches.
Prior to the victory over Port Vale, the visitors had lost their last six games against Blackpool, Wrexham, Preston North End, Bolton Wanderers, Rochdale and Salford, despite winning eight games in a row before the run of defeats.
