It’s always fantastic for the club when new relationships blossom and that’s exactly how it is with MKM Building Supplies, who have recently added to the launch of their partnership with the club – which includes pitch side advertising, ten match day sponsorships and four season tickets – with a donation of £750 to the club’s Community Sports Trust programme.

SOCCER SCHOOLS: Book your place for half term

Manager Paul Simpson attended the MKM open day last month, along Josh Dixon, Taylor Charters and Tobi Sho-Silva, and members of the Sports Trust were also on hand to assist with and take part in a range of fun activities at the event.

This has been followed up with the donation to the CST as part of the MKM Day of Giving.

MKM branch director Jamie Ross said: “March 20 was our day of giving and to give this donation to the CUFC Community Sports Trust filled us with pride.

“The Sports Trust is very close to our hearts. The Trust has been used by many of us from sports camps to primary school visits. The excitement they create when visiting schools is amazing.

“But the trust isn't just sports camps and school visits, they hold a wealth of activities in our local community which benefits all ages. Our goal is to help raise awareness of the great work done by the trust.

“We know our donation will go a long way towards helping with new equipment, extra community sessions, breakfast mornings - the list goes on and on.

“We look forward to continuing to work together, and using the power of sport and the supply of building materials to give back to our beloved local community.”

CST manager James Tose said: “We are delighted to receive such a generous donation from Jamie and Nathan at MKM Building Supplies.

“MKM have been very enthusiastic about supporting the local community. They recognise the value we add to the area with the fantastic projects we run in the local and wider community, so for them to help us with our work is fantastic and much appreciated.”
