Everything you need to know about our season tickets
Carlisle United have announced details of their season ticket and general admission prices for the 2013/14 season with additional measures in place to make the purchase of season tickets easier and more competitive for both existing and new customers.
Ticket prices will stay at the same level for a second consecutive season with season ticket holders once again rewarded with significant savings and exclusive season ticket holder only benefits.*
The popular ‘Early Buy’ renewal period has been restructured to give existing season ticket holders more options when making their early purchases this year.
New this season is the exclusive ‘Early Renewal’ option, running from Monday 8 April to Tuesday 30 April, which offers existing season ticket holders of all age groups and types an amazing four-game saving on regular match day prices.
And in what is a fantastic move all those who purchase within the ‘Early Renewal’ period will automatically be entered into a draw from which six season ticket holders will be selected to receive a full refund on the total cost of their season ticket!
A second ‘Renewals Only’ period, from Wednesday 1 May 2013 to Saturday 11 May, offers a three-game saving with the season ticket ‘Early Buy’ option, from Monday 13 May to Saturday 22 June, saving fans an equivalent of two-games against regular match day prices.
The standard rate will then be available from Monday 24 June onwards where a one-game saving can be made.
In-line with the club's policy which saw it win the Football League Family Excellence Award again in 2012, a further restructuring of the family and senior ticket prices has been conducted to reflect the popular packages from last season’s campaign.
These include a simplification of the family and combined adult/senior with junior packages as we look to continue to cater for our future generation of Blues supporters.
The Young Person's category for people aged 18-22, with admission from as little as £10 per game – or less than £9 with a season ticket – remains, in addition to the existing and extremely popular cut-price admission for Juniors and accompanied Under-11s, plus free entry for accompanied Under-sevens.
Payment by direct debit, spread over 10 months, provides an extremely effective method of completing your season ticket purchase with over 400 people choosing to pay in this way as they pledge their support to the Blues for less than £10 per week.
Ticket office manager Christine Metcalfe said: “We are constantly looking for ways to reward our loyal season ticket holders and we feel that the introduction of the exclusive ‘Early Renewal’ option, which is equivalent to entry to four games free of charge, goes some way to achieving that.
“We have decided to hold the prices for most of our groups at the same levels as last season with the senior and family categories being brought into line with our current pricing structure.
“We conducted a comprehensive survey with our season ticket holders just before Christmas and many of the points they raised have been addressed. This has been reflected in the way we have set our prices and in the season ticket holder benefits package we have put together.
“The direct debit option is something we are really pleased with. Fans have responded to what is an easier way of making the payment and we expect the numbers who choose that option to go up again this year. It’s definitely worth looking into for those fans who want to spread their payments out next season.”
Managing director John Nixon said: “A lot of work has been done by our ticket office staff over the last few years and we think we are getting there in terms of the ticket options we provide for our fans.
“We’ve listened to feedback and we have made sure that our prices compare favourably with other clubs at this level. Our aim remains to continue to improve the football club on and off the field and our supporters, including our season ticket holders, are an integral part of that. Hopefully we will see the team produce the results on the pitch and we can all move forward together.”
*Senior price rates have been adjusted to bring them in line with our club ticketing policy and a review of the family ticket packages has been conducted, with some categories removed
