Winger Jordan Gibson put pen-to-paper with the Blues on a two-year deal from Sligo Rovers, for an undisclosed fee, at the end of the August 2021 transfer window. A trigger clause keeps him at the club until the summer of 2024.
Birmingham-born Gibson was with Wolves and Bromsgrove as a youngster, and he joined Glasgow giants Rangers in 2015, and was part of their under-20 squad until he secured a move to Bradford City in the summer of 2017.
He played 29 games for the Bantams, scoring once, and also enjoyed a loan spell with Stevenage through the second half of the 2018/19 campaign.
A move to Ireland and St Patrick’s proved to be a good one, and he was snapped up by Sligo, where he featured in every league fixture and scored in seven successive games through the first part of 2021.
