Late goal seals win for young Blues
Accrington grabbed the lead in blustery conditions at Creighton this afternoon but Ellis Pearson brought the persistent Cumbrians right back into it with 10 minutes to go when he slotted home from close range.United kept going and their efforts were rewarded with almost the last kick of the game when Patrick Brough broke to clear. His cross was well controlled by Jason Blackburn and the big striker kept his composure to grab the winner and make it five in a row for the in-form home side.
