Carlisle United Football Club would like to go on record with a thank you to Fan Representative non-executive director Claire Winder who has resigned from the position this morning.
Claire has brought energy and enthusiasm to a demanding role and has represented the wide spectrum of Carlisle United supporters.
Chairman Andrew Jenkins said: “The Fan Representative role is an important initiative and we would like to thank Claire for her contribution throughout this season. We’re disappointed that she has decided to leave at this stage.
“The role is a difficult balance between the openness and the essential business confidentiality needed to operate successfully. It’s a valued and new position which we hope we can maintain going into next season and beyond.”
