Carlisle left it late but a last gasp winner from defender Luke Taylor capped off an excellent team performance at Wrexham on Friday afternoon.
The young Cumbrians continued with their brand of good football and kept another clean sheet as they recorded a decent away win on a travel-affected and muggy afternoon.
"I'm really pleased with the lads because they stuck to the job and got their reward," Academy Manager Darren Edmondson said. "Confidence is high and hopefully that will stand everyone in good stead."
