Carlisle United can confirm that defender Sean Grehan has returned to Crystal Palace following his loan spell at Brunton Park.
Grehan, 20, arrived in Cumbria in January and made three appearances during his spell at the club.
Manager Paul Simpson said: “Following discussions between Crystal Palace, Sean and myself, a decision has been made for him to end his loan spell and return to Palace.
“Unfortunately loans sometimes don’t work out as everyone would hope, and this has been the case with this one.
“We wish Sean all the best in the future.”
