Defender Peter Grant joined the club on a half-season deal during the January 2019 transfer window having left Plymouth ahead of his move up north.
Born in Bellshill, Grant is the son of Celtic legend Peter Grant, and started his career at Carrow Road where his father was both a player and manager.
He had a spell with Thorpe Rovers during his time with the Canaries. He moved to Peterborough whilst still a scholar and earned a professional contract with the Posh, having captained the youth team at London Road with some distinction.
He had loan spells with Thurrock and Histon before signing for Scottish Championship club Falkirk, where he went on to make 120 appearances.
He scored nine goals for the Bairns, including Falkirk’s only goal in the 2015 Scottish Cup Final when they faced Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
His move to Plymouth was completed last summer and he made nine appearances for the Pilgrims before agreeing to making the move up to Cumbria.
