Left-sided defender Nick Anderton signed for Carlisle on an 18-month deal during the January 2020 transfer window.
Anderton started his career at home-town club Preston where he enjoyed loan spells at Chorley, Gateshead, Barrow and Aldershot.
He signed for Barrow on a permanent basis in 2016 and became a regular for The Bluebirds before moving to Bloomfield Road in 2017.
