Defender Byron Webster became the club’s sixth summer signing at the end of June 2019 when he put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal.

Webster started his football journey with York City where he made a total of 22 appearances.

He joined Doncaster Rovers in August 2009 and had loan spells with Hereford United and Northampton Town whilst at the Keepmoat.

A move to FK Banik Most saw him spend two years in Europe prior to his spell with Doncaster. A loan move to Northampton became permanent in the summer of 2011, but it was the move to Yeovil one-year later which really set his career on fire.

Just under 100 solid appearances for the Glovers alerted Millwall, and he went on to spend four-and-a-half years at the Den. That included a three-month loan spell back at Huish Park in January 2015.

His most recent move was a half-season stay with Scunthorpe United between January and May 2019, where he made nine appearances for the Iron.

Byron is sponsored by CUSAT.
