United signed keeper Max Crocombe on a one-year deal at the beginning of August 2016.
The Auckland-born stopper moved to England at a young age and has represented his country at all levels up to U23, and received his first call up to the full international squad in March 2015.
He started as a youngster with Buckingham Town before being spotted by Oxford United. He signed scholarship forms with the U’s and subsequently signed his first professional deal with the club in 2012.
He had loan spells with Nuneaton, Barnet and Southport and left Oxford by mutual agreement prior to his move to Cumbria.
