Danny Livesey joined Carlisle United on Christmas Eve 2004, on a month long loan from Bolton Wanderers, and made his move permanent the following month.
The young central defender slotted straight into the squad and improved with every match.
He made his first team debut for Bolton, aged 17, in the FA Cup and has had loan spells with Rochdale, Notts County and Blackpool.
Calm, strong and assured, he can carry the ball or act decisively when needed.
He enjoys going up for set pieces and has chipped in with a number of vital goals, including an amazing, pressure filled, spot kick at the end of the Conference Play off semi-final that took United to Stoke.
Willing to do the hard work he provides a reliable option at the heart of the back line.
