Danny Livesey joined Carlisle United on Christmas Eve 2004, on a month long loan from Bolton Wanderers, and made his move permanent the following month.
The young central defender slotted straight into the squad and improved with every match.
He made his first team debut for Bolton, aged 17, in the FA Cup and had loan spells with Rochdale, Notts County and Blackpool. Calm, strong and assured, he can carry the ball or act decisively when needed.
He enjoys going up for set pieces and has chipped in with a number of vital goals, including an amazing, pressure filled, spot kick at the end of the Conference Play off semi-final that took United to Stoke.
Now in his ninth season with the club he has notched over 300 appearances and has committed his immediate future to Brunton Park by signing a further twelve month deal in June 2013.
