This October 29, United will stage their Family Football Festival npower League One match against Oldham in support of The Football League's 47 match campaign.
Activities we have planned are as follows:
Face Painting - come along to the Blues Store between 1pm and 3pm and get your face painted. Then, have a wander round to the Story Homes Stand and have your picture taken for the next edition of the popular club magazine, United Scene, and you can show everyone just how good you looked!
Halloween Fancy Dress - there will be a fancy dress competition, open to children and adults, where you can showcase your horrible Hallowe'en attire for everyone to see. Just trun up dressed to scare on the day, and OLGA will pick out her nasty winner at half time. There may even be a prize (actually, there is - a goody bag and a brand new 2011/12 shirt).
Mascot Race - OLGA will be helping us to support this season's official Football League charity, Help the Hospices, by taking part in a race with Eden Valley Hospice mascot, Hospuss. Choose your favourite and cheer them on!
Running until December, the Family Football Festival campaign is being launched by The Football League to attract new families to games this autumn. Football is a family-friendly experience providing quality together-time in a safe environment.
