United's youth game against Port Vale, scheduled for a Saturday morning kick off at Creighton Rugby Club, is subject to a 7.15am pitch inspection.

Youth boss Eric Kinder said: "We'll have a look at it first thing and see whether we think we can get a game on it.

"We'll do it that early because if it's bad news we can stop Port Vale from setting off on what would be come a wasted journey. Fingers crossed it will be fine because we all want it to go ahead."

The result of the inspection will be posted here on the official site at approximately 7.30am on Saturday morning.
