United's home Youth game v Tranmere Rovers has been called off on Saturday 7 February due to the recent cold weather spell.

Eric Kinder explained: "I went out to both of our venues - Gillford Park and Creighton Rugby Club - with the match official and he has deemed that neither surface is playable.

"It was good to have him there, because it then becomes his decision, and I have to say that there was little argument. Both pitches were suffering from the frost and, with it due to be cold again tonight, there was little else that he could do."
