We caught up with Eric Kinder for reaction to a good away win for the Reserves:

"It was a good result in very, very difficult conditions.

The wind was swirling around so much that I didn't think we were going to get any kind of game at all but, to be fair to both sides, they handled it very well. It turned out to be a very evenly contested game, and I think we deserved the win in the end.

We were in front after a minute when Connor Tinnion sent a corner in. Gary Madine got in front of his marker and scored with a good header, so that got us off to an excellent start.

They equalised after 20 minutes when they got a cross over from the right, and we found that we couldn't deal with it. The ball broke loose and they had a couple of players there to help to bundle it over the line.

We went in front again just before half time when Gary Madine put the ball through for Shaun Vipond, in a good position. He took his time and then slid it across to Steve Hindmarch, and he thumped it away from just inside the box. We were pleased with that goal because it was good play, from back to front.

We went in to half time at that, but they pulled it back again on 65 minutes. Zigor Aranalde was really unlucky to score an own goal, from a cross that was going everywhere in the wind. He found himself in a situation where there was nothing he could do, so he tried to get enough on to it to lift it over the bar. We thought he'd managed it, but the wind made it dip and it flew in to the back of the net.

That knocked us back a bit because we deserved to win the game, and you start to think that it isn't going to be your day. The good thing that came from it was that we carried on playing. Heads didn't drop, and we got our chance when Luke Joyce made a run in to the box. He got himself on to a right wing cross and he scored us the winner.

Man City had a young side out, but so did we. It was the lads that would normally play in the Youth Cup, because they have different groups of players for different occasions. Another of their groups will play at a higher level, and that consists of 19 and 20-year-olds, and then they have their full Reserve team to play at Premier League level. They have a lot of players, so they tend to use them at these different levels.

Like I say, apart from Arnie and Zigor, we had a young team out ourselves, so I'm really pleased with what we've done. It was a good performance and a deserved three points."
