WE HUNG IN THERE
United coach Dennis Booth spoke to us about the 1-1 draw with Chester:
"It was a tough game for us because they had a decent team out, as did we.
I can't fault the lads for effort, because they knew they had to dig in to get something. The conditions weren't the best, but they've kept plugging away and they've worked hard.
At times our quality wasn't the best, and our final ball let us down on a few occasions, but we hung in there and it paid off. Overall, like I say, the lads did well. It's a good result from a difficult venue, so we have to be happy.
We scored from an extremely good cross that Danny Carlton managed to finish off. Credit to him for that, but credit also has to go Chris Howarth. He kept us in it when we were 1-0 down with a very good save, one on one. I'm pleased for big Howarth, he's had a good game.
We had no injuries as such, which is good news. Danny Carlton was carrying a bit of a dead leg from Saturday, and he's feeling a little bit tight now, but he'll be fine if we keep an eye on it."
