Midfielder Marc Bridge-Wilkinson joined United in the summer of 2007 for his second spell at the club.
The Coventry-born attacking midfielder began his career with Derby County and made one appearance for the Midlands side, coming on as a sub in a 2-1 Premier League win over Liverpool at Anfield in November 1998.
Later that season he was sent out on-loan by the Rams to gain first team experience, making the move north to Brunton Park for his first spell with The Blues. He spent a month in Cumbria and made 7 appearances for United before returning to Pride Park.
After a lack of first team opportunities the following season, Marc was released by Derby and after a successful trial spell joined then third tier side Port Vale.

His first season at Vale Park proved to be a hugely successful one, scoring an impressive 14 goals from midfield. The highlight of the campaign for Marc came at the Millennium Stadium, where he scored a penalty in the 2-1 win over Brentford in the Football League Trophy final.
Marc went on to spend four successful years with the Burslem-based club, scoring 31 goals in 124 league appearances. He then had a short spell with Stockport County before a loan move Bradford City eventually led to a permanent deal.
His first season at Valley Parade saw the club finish in the top half of the table but his second campaign saw the club suffer the disappointment of relegation to League Two.
The United management were impressed with Marc's performances for Bradford during that campaign and after leaving the Yorkshire club he made the move to Cumbria on a two-year deal and began his second spell with the club.

His first season proved to be a highly successful one, scoring 8 goals as United went on a club record run of home wins and just missed out on a place in the play-off final. His second campaign started well but a toe injury ruled him out of the final couple of months of the season.
His performances over those two seasons earned him a new two-year contract with the club. An attacking midfielder who likes to play passing football, his ability to pick out a team mate and take quality set-pieces make him a dangerous threat to opposition defences.
Under contract until the summer of 2011.
