Chris Lumsdon started his football career at Sunderland before moving to Barnsley, where he made 75 appearances.
Joining United in the summer of 2004 he slotted in to the central midfield role where he rarely wastes a pass.
A strong player, equally comfortable going forward or helping out in defence, he has proved to be a great asset and a fantastic servant to the club.
