David Raven became the second summer signing of 2006, joining United from Liverpool.
He made 4 appearances in total for the Reds, also proudly wearing the captain's armband as an England Youth International during his time at Anfield.
He ended the 2005/06 season on loan at Tranmere Rovers, where he made 11 first team appearances with the League One outfit.
Now a first team regular, he can play at right back or as a centre back, and is a player who is happy to get stuck in, or get involved in the passing game.
