Neale McDermott started his career as a trainee at Newcastle United before moving to Fulham.
While at Craven Cottage he had loans spells at Swindon and Darlington before joining Carlisle at the beginning of the 2006 / 07 season.
A box-to-box midfielder he has an excellent engine and likes to get in and around the area, looking for the second ball.
