Popular winger Joe Anyinsah joined United for the second time of asking on an 18-month deal from Preston North End during the January 2009 transfer window.
No stranger to Brunton Park, having spent 3-months on-loan with the club towards the end of 2007, he headed back up North following a brief loan spell with Brighton.
He started his career as a trainee with Bristol City and joined Preston in 2005, but made just 8 appearances for the Deepdale outfit.
He has enjoyed loan spells with Bury and Crewe whilst with the Lilywhites, and played 14 games for the Cumbrians last season, scoring 3 goals from his starting berth on the right hand side of midfield.
Under contract until the summer of 2010.
