United legend Hugh McIlmoyle shares his thoughts on the weekend win over Brighton:
"That was much better!
That was the way we started the season and let's hope we can carry on like that.
The team went out on Saturday and competed whereas the last couple of months they have seemed to wait for things to happen. This match, they made it happen.
We were really up for the game, played exceptionally well and deserved to win. Three - one is a good victory and we could have had another couple of goals quite easily.
The choice for Man of the Match could have been anybody whilst we could not have said that for the past few weeks.
It was a really exciting game that had plenty of goalmouth action - I hope we'll have plenty more games like that this season. Hopefully this will kick-start our season again.
I was hoping for a win but I was very pleased with the style of the win. Brighton were a decent enough team and it is a good job that we competed against them. Greg's enthusiasm seems to have rubbed off on the players.
The third goal was a peach of a goal, the build up was good and it was well taken. I would have been well pleased with that one myself!
Some of our crosses were wonderful - Simon and Cleveland played really well. The young lad, Liddle, looked very comfortable on the ball despite having to face Anyinsah - he looked a lot older than eighteen as he played with such assurance.
For the first time in a couple of months I've had a couple of pints after the match and really enjoyed them!"
