United hero Hugh McIlmoyle will be with us throughout this season, yet again, as he gives us his opinion on all of the home games.

He kicks us off today with reaction to the Yeovil match on Saturday:

"It was a terrific result and an enjoyable match as well.

It's the first time I have seen Carlisle United in the League this season, and I thought we were impressive in the second half.

I was glad to see young Gary Madine get his first senior goal, and he took it like a veteran from about twelve yards. He'll always remember his first goal - I can remember mine and that was nearly 50 years ago!

I am pleased to see how the club are bringing him on - the 90 minutes on Tuesday at QPR will have done him good. He's certainly got the build and the potential to be a good striker.

I was delighted with the standing ovation that Cleveland Taylor got on Saturday, as he had really deserved it. He made some excellent runs and his contribution to the goals was vital. There's a lot more about Cleveland this season, which is great to see.

Danny Graham certainly put the work in to get his goals on Saturday, and it was really good to see him get his hat-trick.

He always gets on the end of things and that's what a good striker should be doing.

He's not going to score with every effort but he keeps on going. He has a lot more confidence in himself at the moment.

The goal just before half-time really gave us a boost so that we came out for the second half and played more football and dominated the game.

We had some really good movement and passing, and 4-1 is as good as it gets. That's two consecutive home matches where we've scored four goals - you would think it would bring the fans back to see more of the same.

I was disappointed with the crowd on Saturday, as we should be getting more than that.

I appreciate that the lower Divisions are suffering more than the Premiership from the credit crunch, but we have made a really good start to the season. We have another home game on Saturday and I would hope that we would be getting the sort of gates that would increase our average attendance.

At the moment, Brunton Park is the place to be!"
