YOU KICK EVERY BALL
More match reaction from scoring hero Hugh McIlmoyle:
It was a bit nervy on Tuesday wasn't it?
We did well in the first half, but they came out in the second half and controlled the play. I was very impressed with them, and you could see why they were the top scorers in our Division.
However, we've said all along that we are a hard team to beat and we proved that. We dug in and matched them for effort. Our defence has been excellent this season and they proved themselves again on Tuesday. We could have done with a bit more composure, as we were a bit helter-skelter at times, but we still did the job. Anyway, it was another point for us, which is better than nothing.
They were a class team and put us under a lot of pressure in the second half, but we held out and I think a point was fair reward for us. Swansea look like they could do reasonably well in the Championship with the side they have already. They are a strong, physical team and should be able to hold their own - mentally too.
We're now six points ahead of Doncaster with only four games to play - I don't think you could ask for anything better than that. I would rather be in our shoes than the teams below us, because six points will take some making up. It means that they have to virtually win all of their games. It is tempting to look at the other teams' fixtures and say that they'll win this match and that one, but that is not the case at this stage of the season. For instance, I cannot see how Bournemouth beat the Swansea team that played us on Tuesday - but they did!
Now we've got the Leeds match and Tuesday's point means that we're not going down there with a defeat behind us. The team spirit is bound to be high. I must admit though, that I can't wait for the season to finish, as I'm as nervous as anything! I never thought I would be nervous watching a football match, but the last couple of games have been scary ... you kick every ball.
It was a good turnout of fans on Tuesday, which is great to see, especially with Champions League football on the TV.
Next home match is against Southend, who are coming with a good strong run, so we'll need a good turnout of noisy fans that day as well.
