With 81 appearances for United under his belt already, it's fair to say that Zigor Aranalde has seen just about everything there is to see with us, but even he had to admit that the trip to Orient had been particularly tough.
He said: "It was a battle, but I think we expected the game to go that way. I'm guessing that it wasn't the best game of football to watch, but you sometimes have to accept that it can be like that. I think we did quite well, we handled it well, and we still tried to play our game."
"I am disappointed with the goal," he continued, "because that was a bad headed clearance that led up to it. The player has done very well to smash it in to the net the way he did, and when goals go in like that you sometimes have to put your hands up and clap, because it was a superb volley. But, we maybe could have done better with the clearance."
"Like I say, I think we played well overall, and I am enjoying playing with Jeff Smith on the left," he added. "He's a really good player and we seem to be linking up together. He is showing us his qualities, and I think he is enjoying the way we play as well. Hopefully we can get even better down the left and really give teams something to think about."
On the Chesterfield game coming around so quickly, he said: "In my opinion that's a good thing. We want to get out there and get another win. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with a draw from a game like the one against Orient, but we could also look at it as two points dropped. By getting out there and winning against Chesterfield it gives us a chance to bring them back again. With 13 games to go, we have plenty to play for. If we keep defending like we did on Saturday, and battling when we have to, then our quality will show through. We have the players here to win games, we have shown that, and we know that we can keep picking up points. It can only keep getting better and better."
