Simon Hackney has agreed an extension to his contract that will keep him at Brunton Park until the summer of 2007.

Simon, who was 22 this week, signed for United in February 2005 from Woodley Sports and has already become a favourite with the fans, with his surging runs down the wing. We will catch up with 'Hackers' after training for his reaction to the news.
