Carlisle United's brand-new publication United Scene is proving a big hit with Blues fans across the county.
Supporters have been snapping up copies of the magazine from outlets throughout Cumbria and the feedback recieved has been nothing but positive.
The first issue, released earlier this month, is packed with interesting features and articles, including:
- Up close and personal interview with Matty Robson and his fiancée Emma
- Restaurant review with Adam Collin and his partner Helen
- Meet the New Boys Q&A
- At Home with Frank Simek feature
- Gaffer answers the fans
- Andy Cook and Ryan Bowman go head-to-head
- An interview with Norwich City captain and Carlisle lad Grant Holt
- A feature on the Youth Team's pre-season Army training camp
- Along with plenty of match review, club history and lifestyle articles.
There's also a fixture wallchart and a number of competitions, including chances to win a Tissot Swiss watch, £100 worth of New Balance trainers and a season ticket for next season.
United fan Joe Bell, who picked up a copy of the new magazine at the Blues Store before the Swindon Town game, said: "The magazine is fantastic and is a must have for all Carlisle fans.
"My mate bought a copy when it came out and I had a look through it and was really impressed with it. The behind the scenes stuff was really interesting and my kids love the wallchart. This is the kind of product you'd expect from a Premier League club!"
Media officer Andy Hall said: "The response has been magnificent. Trying something new is always a bit of a step in the dark but we couldn't have asked for a better reaction. We have had nothing but positive comments and it's a reaction like this that makes the hard work worthwhile."
The Blues Store will be open on Saturday from 9am to allow fans travelling on the supporters coaches the chance to pick up a copy to read on the journey down to the Sheffield Wednesday game.
