United captain Paul Thirlwell spoke to us after Saturday's 0-0 draw with Swindon Town at Brunton Park.
He said: "It was a really well fought game out there and a draw was probably the fair result.
"We're feeling a bit tired after it and I'm sure their lads are as well. I felt as if we were on top first half although not massively. We got at them quite well and put some good pressure on their backline but unfortunately our finally delivery all over the pitch wasn't quite right.
"We came in at the break a little disappointed not to be ahead and we felt we could go out and do the job in the second half. But to be fair, they stifled our attack really well after half-time and created a lot more chances themselves. In the end, a point was probably a good result based on those chances they had. They're a decent side and I wouldn't expect them to be down near the bottom come the end of the season.
"The defence did a really good job against two very decent forwards. We all know what big Vince is about but I though Lubomir had an excellent debut and didn't give him much of a chance to cause us any problems.
"We had a lot of corners and crosses into the box today but despite a good standard of delivery, we didn't take advantage. It's up to us as a team to get on the end of them but it's just been one of those days where it hasn't quite worked out.
"I think we all feared the worst when it fell to Austin at the end there as he's normally deadly in front of goal. He did seem to take a while to get his shot away though and maybe if it had been more a chance he had to take first time he'd have buried it, but we were all relieved to see it go over the bar.
"We're all a little bit disappointed today as we haven't performed as well as we had done in previous game but we can't be too downhearted as we're still unbeaten and second in the league. We can be really pleased with how we've done so far this season but there's still plenty of work to be done.
"It's set things up really nicely for next week now. It's going to be a great experience for the lads, especially the younger players, to go to a great stadium and play in front of a big crowd. We know there's going to be a big following of our fans there too and we hope we can keep this run going for them. As long as we keep picking up points, we're going to find ourselves in and around the place we want to be."
