United fans got the chance to meet their heroes earlier this week as the club held an open training session on the pitch at Brunton Park.
Over 500 fans turned up on Bank Holiday Monday to watch the lads have their first training session after last week's 1-1 draw at Colchester United.
Families relaxed in the good weather as the coaching staff worked the squad through a number of drills and routines, including crossing and finishing practice.
Additionally, Dennis Booth provided a running commentary on the PA system which described why the players were being made to do certain routines, as well as taking the mickey out of a few of them in the process!
After the session finished, fans were invited out of the stands and onto the pitch to get signatures and have photos taken with the players.
United commercial director Dick Young said: "It's been a great day for everyone and we're really pleased with the turn out this afternoon to see Greg, Kav and Dennis put the lads through their paces.
"Holding events like today are really important for us. It allows fans to get closer to the players and for the young supporters especially, it's a great chance for them to meet their heroes."
In the freeview clip at the top of the page, Greg Abbott talks about how well the open training session went, followed by some clips taken from the session. A longer video with clips from the session will appear on United Player soon.
