Slovakian international defender Lubomir Michalik has signed on-loan from Championship side Leeds United until 3 January 2011.

Michalik, 27 in two weeks time, initially joined the Whites on-loan from Bolton in March 2007 and the deal was made permanent in January 2008 for a £500,000 fee.

He has made 69 appearances during his stay at Elland Road and is eligible for United's League One home game against Swindon Town this weekend.

Michalik started his career in his native Slovakia with Senec and has scored once in his four senior international appearances to date.
