United manager Greg Abbott spoke to the press on Monday afternoon about the important role that striker Francois Zoko has to play in the team.
He said: "We're feeling quite good after the weekend.
"We got a good point at a difficult place and I think that the second half might even have been our best half of football so far this season.
"We've played some good football overall this season and we want that to carry on.
"We looked at how we were playing on Friday night and we moved things around a little bit in the second half. We spoke to Francois [Zoko] and told him that we wanted to go and get the ball when it was coming to him, and that gave him a little bit of freedom. He responded well to what we asked him to do and he had a bit of an impact.
"He was suddenly involved in most of our best work and he made a vital contribution. He was grabbing me at half time and asking how he could do more, and that's the kind of person that he is. He doesn't understand all of the English when I am talking during half time, but once you get one-to-one with him you know that he is picking it up.
"He knew that he was able to vacate the area just in front of their defenders and I made it clear where I wanted him to be when he lost possession, and I think he appreciated that. We went through a few things on the board with him, and it's a good sign that he wants to do that kind of thing.
"I think he's going to be a good signing for us because he definitely isn't here just to go through the motions."
