United manager Greg Abbott spoke to us after full time on Friday evening to give us his reaction to the 1-1 draw with Colchester.
He said: "When you score like that it can feel like you have come away with a victory, so I'm pleased for everyone tonight.
"We have gone into the dressing room at half time and we have spoken about the things that we weren't happy with.
"We talked about the fact that we weren't seeing enough of the ball and that we were a little but careless with it when we had it.
"We asked the players to step things up and to make sure that they took the game to Colchester and the really pleasing thing was that we controlled the second half.
"There were three or four good chances before we scored and when we are hitting the bar and when the keeper is pulling off good saves, you start to wonder if it is going to be your night.
"But we kept going and it is that kind of attitude, where you push on until the final whistle, that will get you things where, perhaps in the past, we would have come away with nothing.
"We responded well to a first half performance that was nowhere near the standard that we have set ourselves this season and that was probably the most pleasing thing of all.
"There were a couple of occasions when we felt that we could have had a penalty, and it is frustrating to see decisions given in other areas of the pitch that are ignored in the box. You can't do anything about it though so we won't go on about it too much.
"I thought the whole team was magnificent in the second half. Peter Murphy is taking a bit of stick for his throw in just before the goal, and Kav [Graham Kavanagh] is laughing and joking about the fact that he came on and changed the game, and that's the kind of spirit that we have in that dressing room at the moment.
"They have done the serious part of the job by making sure that they got themselves back into a game that they didn't really get going in until after the break, and now they are all together and having a bit of banter. With a dressing room like that we won't be going far wrong.
"Scoring like that at the end probably eases the pain of what happened with Plymouth, but we know how it feels to concede so late in a game. We are the ones who come away on a high even though it was a game of two halves.
"Paul Thirlwell has popped up with the equaliser for us and I'm delighted for him. He has worked really hard this season and he is enjoying his football. Hopefully there'll be more of that to come from him.
"Our substitutions were to try to get us pushing forward as we felt that we were asking all the questions. Ian Harte was having difficulty breathing from a knock he took to his chest, so he had to come off, but hopefully that will be nothing serious.
"We come to the end of the month unbeaten and it has given us a firm platform to build on. What we have to do now is make sure that we keep doing the things that we are doing and really try to build the momentum up.
"It's another tough one against a very good Swindon side next week but we'll be looking to do our jobs properly and hopefully we'll give our home fans a bit more to cheer about. The support so far this season has been amazing and we just hope that continues and that everyone gets behind us as we try to carry this good form on."
