The Cumbrians have again been scheduled to play Hartlepool both home and away on Tuesday evenings this season as the npower Football League take account of the fact that 13,000 miles on the road awaits for Greg Abbott and his men.

United travel to the north east on Tuesday 28 September for the first of the meetings between the sides with Hartlepool making the return journey on Tuesday 8 March 2011.

Other notable fixtures are the away trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 11 September, with the Owls coming here on Saturday 27 Feb 2011.

The busy festive holiday period takes us away to Oldham on Boxing Day, with home games against Exeter City (28 December) and Huddersfield Town (New Year's Day) completing the Christmas Calendar.

Away games at Tranmere (Monday 3 January 2011) and Charlton Athletic (Saturday 8 January 2011) also help us to see in the New Year.

The last home game of the campaign is also the last game of the season, with United rounding things off as they host Yeovil Town on Saturday 7 May 2011.

The final away trip comes a week before as we make the trip into London to face Dagenham & Redbridge.
