It may not seem a long time since the 2009/10 Football League season came to a close, but tomorrow sees the release of the fixture list for next season's campaign.
Fans up and down the country will be eagerly awaiting the confirmation of their teams fixtures, as they plan their away trips and look to see when weddings and family parties clash with any matches.
Manager Greg Abbott said: "It's always an exciting day when the fixtures come out as you start to realise how close we are getting to the new season.
"There's not really any particular team that I'm looking out for to see when we play them. Of course you always look at the key dates like the Christmas games and first match of the season to see who you are playing then.
"That opening game will definitey be an interesting one as I think that it's key we start off the season in good form. We'd like to get off to a flying start and hopefully we can do that playing some good football as well."
United's fixture list for the npower League One 2010/11 season will appear here on the the official site tomorrow (Thur 17 June) at 9am.
