Eleven of the best-known television commentators are to appear on a brand new England football song.
'Let's Hear It England' is being released in April to inspire the nation, support the national team and raise money for charity. It's the first time commentators from different TV networks have come together in this way.
The starting 11 has now been confirmed as follows, and each of the 11 has voiced specially recorded commentary to get the country and the team in a positive frame of mind for South Africa:
Martin Tyler, Ian Darke and Rob Hawthorne from Sky, Clive Tyldesley, Peter Drury and Jon Champion from ITV, Guy Mowbray, Steve Wilson and Simon Brotherton from the BBC, Peter Brackley (formerly of Football Italia) and Steve Banyard from Premier League Productions (also the composer and Executive Producer).
The track also features the Cotswold Male Voice Choir which is based in Cheltenham. The choir has been entertaining audiences for more than 60 years. In 2008, the choir was asked to perform for England's rugby fans on their way to Twickenham, and it proved so popular, the choir was invited back for the Six Nations in 2009.
'Let's Hear It England' was released on Monday 12th April - two months to the day before England's first World Cup match - and is available to buy as a download from through major online retailers like iTunes, raising money to help give disadvantaged youngsters the chance of a better life.
