Midfielder Tom Taiwo had a busy evening on Tuesday night as United lost 3-1 to promotion hopefuls Leeds United at Brunton Park. We caught up with him after the game for his reaction.
He said: "It was one of them nights where everything went right for Leeds and not a lot right for us.
"I didn't think we played too badly despite the result. I've enjoyed it since getting back in the team four or five games ago and I think we've played quite well in that time. We've passed it about well in those games and looked quite dangerous on the attack.
"They came out at the start and were absolutely flying. You could see just how determined they were, but I felt we held them off well until the goal. But even that didn't knock our confidence that much and I think we deserved to get one back just before half-time.
"We all know what Hartey can do from those situations. People go on about his shooting from goal on free-kicks but he's also good at setting them up. It's a perfect ball in and Richard's made a great connection on it to get the equaliser.
"The gaffer was pleased with us at half-time. He was really positive about it as he said we'd not let our heads drop when they scored and had shown plenty of character to fight back and get the goal.
"He wanted more of the same in the second half but again Leeds started really strongly and those two goals not long after the break gave them a good grip on the game.
"To be honest, all three of their goals were avoidable. We didn't defend any of them well as a team and against a side like Leeds you can't afford to do that as they'll always punish you in that situation.
"It's frustrating really as apart from that, we've done quite well, especially when you consider how many players are unavailable at the moment. If we cut out those daft errors then we look a strong unit.
"Since we moved past the fifty point mark a few weeks ago some people might have thought we'd have relaxed and took our foot off the pedal. But the last few games have shown that we haven't eased up at all. We've shown that we're just as desperate to get wins as we ever have been and it's important to keep that attitude up until the end of the season.
"It's vitally important that we keep that kind of attitude until the final whistle of the Norwich game next month. If we do that, we'll get some good momentum going and go into the summer break on a high and ready for a push to finish even higher next season."
