Manager Greg Abbott spoke to us on Friday morning about the preparations for the visit of Colchester.
He said: "It's another game for us to look forward to.
"The pitch down there wasn't great when we played them but, to be fair, I thought we played some good football.
"It was a game that we thought that we should have got something out of but they equalised with a contentious goal, and it wasn't to be.
"It's what happens tomorrow that counts now and we want to be picking up results quickly so that we can enjoy our end to the season.
"We know where we are at the moment and we know where we want to be, and we know what we need to do to make things better. It isn't always easy to finalise these things but we're working hard to make sure that if we can improve on what we have got, then we will.
"We know what Colchester are going to do and we know how they play. What we will have to do is stand up and be brave. That was message on Wednesday when we trained and it is the same message now.
"We got the ball down against Millwall and we passed it nicely, and we will have to try and do that again on Saturday. Brighton stood up to them in midweek and we will have to do the same.
"I think our fans are frustrated at the moment, but we all are. The majority of them clapped us off on Tuesday night and i think that's because they understand what it is we are trying to do. I think they are coming to terms with what is happening at the club because it is in a period of change. We're in decent shape, and obviously we would like to be better, but I think that the fans appreciate the way that we are trying to pass the ball.
"They were critical of the performance at Wycombe where we got a point, but that's because they want to see good football. We're craving to give them that and we want to give them the results as well. The board have already told me to go out and identify players and they have said that they will pull up trees, which possibly means going outside of our current wage structure if we have to, and I can't ask for any more than that. If the fans back us as well, because we need them, then we can all hopefully move forward together."
