DO THE BUSINESS

Posted on: Fri 12 Mar 2010

We spoke to new signing Jason Price ahead of his first training session with the club.

He said: "I've had a spell with Oldham but it hasn't worked out for me, and I was delighted to hear that Carlisle had come in for me.

"This is a new challenge for me and I like to give 110%. I think I'm awkward to deal with and I like to be in and around the box, and I'm hoping that I can do the business while I am here.

"I like the ball to feet, and I like to play in a team that plays the game properly, so I'm just looking forward to getting on with it.

"I've just had a word with the manager and he has made it clear that if it does work out over the next two months then we can start talking about further ahead. It's a fresh start for me and I just want to get here, score some goals and win games.

"I'm used to the travelling, that's all part of the game, but you do have to say that Carlisle is a real mission to get to. They've got some great fans, I've seen that over the years, and it's a big pitch, so it's a good place to be.

"I spoke to some of the Millwall lads and they said how well Carlisle played and that they were lucky to get the three points from you the other night. That tells me that it is good football and that I'm going to enjoy it.

"You just have to look at the squad list to see that there are some great players here, and hopefully I will add to what we have already got."
