CARLISLE UNITED 1 (Livesey 90+2) MILLWALL 3 (Morison 12, 78, Schofield 90+4) FT
United - Collin, Keogh, Livesey, Harte, Horwood, Hurst (Marshall 74), Clayton, Kavanagh, Taiwo (Bridge-Wilkinson 79), Robson, Dobie (Offiong 65). Subs - Gillespie, Murphy, Thirlwell, Kane.
Millwall - Forde, Dunne, Robinson, Schofield, Hackett (Baron 90), Craig, Ward, Morison, Batt (Obika 83), Abdou, Trotter. Subs - Sullivan, Frampton, Grimes, Smith, Laird.
2144 - After a close first-half, the second saw Millwall step up a gear and pick up a deserved three points through Steve Morison's brace of goals and Schpofield's late strike, despite the late flurry that lead to Livesey's goal. Visiting keeper Forde was barely tested other than that Livesey header and Kav's early volley and United will be hoping for a lot better against Colchester United this weekend. Join me then for the next min by min report.
FULL-TIME - Carlisle United 1 Millwall 3
90+4 min - GOAL! Carlisle United 1 Milwall 3 - Game over as Danny Schofield fires home from six yards out.
90+2 min - GOAL! Carlisle United 1 Millwall 2 - The second corner from Robson finds Danny Livesey whose header is fumbled by Forde giving United a goal. As United try to get the ball back to get the game started again, there's a bit of pushing and shoving and Forde clearly strikes Offiong. True to form, Mr Salisbury books both players instead of sending off Forde for violent conduct.
90+1 min - Corner to United on the left after a tackle on Robson. He takes the kick himself and finds Offiong but his header is deflected over for another corner by Craig.
90 min - Looks like it's Matty Robson down injured. Meanwhile, Millwall make their second change, with Chris Hackett coming off for Scott Barron. The fourth official has indicated there will be a minimum of four minutes added time at the end of the game.
88 min - Foul on Keogh by Steve Morison and a bit of afters sees the Millwall man pick up a booking. The long free-kick is easily cleared by Millwall but United now have a man down, not too sure who it is at the moment.
84 min - Free-kick to United about 40 yards out. Harte whips it in and it's something between a cross and a shot and Forde does well to hold onto it.
83 min - Millwall make their first change, with Shaun Batt coming off for Jonathan Obika.
79 min - United make their final change, taking off Tom Taiwo for Marc Bridge-Wilkinson.
78 min - GOAL! Carlisle United 0 Millwall 2 - The Lions get a second and it's a very soft one. Hackett lofts a cross in from the left that Collin comes miles out of his goal to try and claim but he seems to run straight into Trotter, giving Morison an empty goal to head the ball into. Some debate over whether it was a foul but to us in the press box, it didn't.
77 min - Corner on the left as Robson's cross is deflected behind off Dunne. Kav goes over and takes it but it sails high and straight into the arms of the grateful David Forde.
74 min - United make their second change, with Kevan Hurst coming off for Ben Marshall.
73 min - Another corner to United as Robson's cross is put behind by Craig with Hurst lurking at the far post. Kav takes it but the ball goes out before coming back in again and it's a goal-kick.
72 min - Hate to say it again, but United lose the ball far too easily and Morison shows good skill on the right to get past Harte. No-one stops him and he hits a low shot across goal that gives Collin no chance but luckily strikes his far post and goes behind for a goal-kick.
70 min - Corner on the left to Millwall. Hackett takes a right-footed inswinger that Livesey heads away as far as Tony Craig, but his left-foot shot sails high and wide of Collin's goal.
68 min - Corner to United on the right. Kav goes over and takes a right-footed outswinger and it makes it into the six-yard box but it's headed away by Morison.
67 min - United lose the ball in midfield and Batt advances towards goal before hitting a powerful shot from 20 yards that Collin does well to parry away.
65 min - United make their first change of the evening, with Scott Dobie coming off for Richard Offiong.
63 min - Millwall are given another soft free-kick, this time for a "shove" by Danny Livesey. From that kick, Livesey is forced to head behind for a corner. Hackett whips in a right-footed inswinger but Livesey again rises highest to head away to safety.
61 min - Chris Hackett steps up and lifts the ball over the wall but also over the crossbar and into the Waterworks End.
60 min - That's a bit of a shocker for the referee Mr Salisbury, as Ian Harte clearly wins the ball off Abdou but he gives a free-kick and a booking to the United man.
59 min - The intial free-kick by Kav is cleared at the near post but Horwood plays it back to him and he loops a high ball into the six-yard box that Livesy attacks, forcing Forde to punch clear to safety.
58 min - Good play by Evan down by the left-wing corner flag wins United a free-kick. Alan Dunne is booked for dragging Evan down in conceding the free-kick.
56 min - From the free-kick, Millwall earn a corner but that's wasted as Collin confidently claims the ball. He tries to release Robson quickly down the left but it's well intercepted by Trotter.
55 min - Late tackle by Adam Clayton on Jimmy Abdou sees the on-loan Man City midfielder pick up the first booking of the evening.
53 min - Good run down the left by Kav earns United a corner. He takes it himself but it's poor and headed away easily.
52 min - United lose possession too easily on the right and Millwall are away down the wing. Morison picks up the ball and runs a good 50 yards before poking an effort towards goal that Collin does well to get something on, forcing it just wide of the far post. From the corner by Hackett, the ball finds Morison at the far post but this time he pokes it wide.
47 min - Early free-kick for United on the left-wing after an innocuous looking foul on Kav. He takes it himself, swinging it in and there's a bit of a scramble but eventually Abdou manages to hack it clear to safety. No-one really took a gamble on that, wasn't a bad free-kick.
2052 - United get us back underway and The Blues are attacking the Warwick Road End in the second half.
2050 - United are now back out on the pitch and we're just waiting for Millwall to come out so the second half can get underway. While we're waiting, here's tonight's attendance figures - 3,853 with 231 away fans. The Lions are now back out on the pitch and we'll be getting underway again shortly.
2037 - Not much to choose between the two sides so far, but Millwall edge it through Morison's smart finish on 12 minutes. The Lions look a constant threat on the counter attack but United have had some good spells of possession with out really testing Forde. Still plenty of time for United to get back into this one.
HALF-TIME - Carlisle United 0 Millwall 1
45 min - The fourth official has indicated there will be a minimum of one minute added time at the end of the first half.
43 min - More good work down the right by United as Hurst holds onto the ball before playing in Keogh. He hits a low shot that's blocked, before hitting a low cross that finds Robson and his right-foot shot has Forde scrambling but he saves and picks up the rebound.
42 min - Taiwo is robbed of possession in midfield and Millwall break down the middle at pace. Schofield gets 25 yards out before hitting a low shot that flies just wide of Collin's right-hand post. The visitors look very dangerous on the counter attack.
37 min - Free-kick to United after Kav is tripped about 35 yards out. Harte takes it and finds Keogh at the far post but his flick on into the middle finds no-one and Millwall clear the ball with ease.
34 min - Harte trips Hackett on the Millwall right to give The Lions a free-kick. Hackett takes the free-kick himself and finds Ward at the far post but he heads well over Collin's bar.
33 min - United keep the ball well down the left and eventually Robson swings in a cross that misses everyone in the middle but finds Hurst on the far side of the area who sets himself up but scoops his half-volley well over the bar.
31 min - Chance for Millwall to double their lead as Hackett's cross finds an on-rushing Schofield who nobody picks up but his header is straight at Collin.
30 min - Bit lucky for United there as Robinson's clearance comes back off Hurst and then hits himself to give United a corner. Kav takes it and plays it to Clayton on the edge of the box but he's leaning back as he volley the ball and hits it well wide.
28 min - The Blues are starting to build some good pressure and after a bit of possession just outside the Millwall area, the ball comes to Keogh on the right who chips a cross to the far post that Robson gets on the end of but can't make enough contact and it's easy for Forde.
25 min - A surging run into the box by Richard Keogh earns United a corner on the right. Kav goes over and takes a right-footed outswinger that's high into the six-yard box where Robinson heads out as far as Clayton but he can't control and it's cleared. The ball's back into the box not long after and it's another corner. This one is taken short but again cleared out but ends up back with Kav, who sends in a cross that Keogh can only head over the bar.
21 min - Good break by United as Robson does Dunne for pace down the left. He gets tackled but the ball comes to Horwood, whose cross is flicked on by Dobie but is just beyond Hurst at the far post. United getting back into the game now after that setback.
19 min - United have a free-kick after Horwood is pulled back by Hackett. Harte takes it quickly to Robson who sends in a cross that's deflected but Dobie can't get onto it and it's cleared by the Millwall defence.
16 min - United have a corner after good pressure from Hurst on the right. Kav takes it but it's poor and doesn't beat the first man and before you know it, Millwall are 3 on 1, but they waste the chance and Horwood nicks in to win the ball and clear to safety.
12 min - GOAL! Carlisle United 0 Millwall 1 - Millwall turn defence to attack with devestating effect. United have a free-kick on the halfway line that's knocked long by Harte but Forde comes to collect near the edge of his area. He kicks the ball long and the United defence manages to miss the chance to head it clear and Steve Morison spots Collin a few yards off his line and lobs it superbly into the back of the net.
8 min - Right-wing corner to Millwall after the ball deflects behind off Horwood. Hackett sends a right-footed outswinger into the six-yard box that Collin comes for and just about gets enough on to punch to safety.
6 min - Nice bit of trickery by Robson on the left-wing to get past Abdou, before whipping in a low cross that Dobie gets on the end of but can't quite steer towards goal. Bright start from The Blues.
4 min - First chance for The Blues and almost a stunning opener. Keogh gets the ball back from a throw-in and dinks it in to Dobie. He tries to control it with his knee but it sits up nicely for Kav, who smashes a volley at goal that Forde in the Millwall goal does well to parry away to safety. Would have been another Kav wonder goal if that had gone in.
1 min - Just looked up and wondered who on earth our new left-back was... then I realised that shiny bald bonce was Evan Horwood! I believe Andy is going to post a picture of his new "do" on his twitter page later tonight. It really is quite a sight!
1949 - Ok, all the pre-match stuff is over and we're ready to go. Millwall kick-off and The Blues will be attacking the Waterworks End in the first-half.
1947 - The two teams are now out and on the pitch doing their usual pre-match line-ups etc. Looks like we'll have a bit of a late start here as a result of the two teams taking a while to come out.
1934 - A quick reminder that Saturday's game against Colchester United has been designated as United's "Football for Heroes" game as part of the Football League's F4H week. There'll be plenty of events on at the game to raise awareness for Help for Heroes, the Football League's official charity partner for the 2009/10 season. More details on the day can be found by clicking here, and you can find out more about Help for Heroes at their website, http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/.
1917 - Like United, visitors Millwall make just one change, with top scorer Neil Harris missing out due to a knee injury picked up in their 2-2 draw at Walsall at the weekend. His place is taken by Shaun Batt, with experienced forward Gary Alexander also missing due to a heel injury.
1912 - So there's one change for United, with Darryl Duffy out after picking up a groin injury in the first half against Wycombe at the weekend. He's replaced by Graham Kavanagh, who makes his first start in three games. Coming back onto the bench is Richard Offiong after his loan move Rotherham United fell through.
1904 - Evening everyone and welcome to tonight's Minute by Minute report for the League One fixture against Millwall. The last time these two teams met at Brunton Park way back in May last year it was a bit of a belter, so let's hope for a bit more of the same this evening! Team news is in and the line-ups can be view at the top of the page.
