SCAN FOR FORWARD

Posted on: Mon 08 Mar 2010

Loan forward Darryl Duffy will have a scan on his troublesome groin injury early this week after coming off the pitch in the first half during the 0-0 draw with Wycombe on Saturday.

Duffy, 25, joined United on loan from Bristol Rovers on transfer deadline day and has scored one goal in his 8 appearances so far.

He complained of a tight groin after the Friday training session last week and will undergo a scan to assist with a diagnosis of the problem.

Manager Greg Abbott said: "It's still giving him some discomfort so we will get him the scan to see what's going on.

"Hopefully we will get that done today or tomorrow and then we can take it from there. However, it will mean that he will miss the Millwall game on Tuesday night."
