United manager Greg Abbott spoke to us today ahead of the trip to Wycombe.
"We asked for a response last Saturday following the poor run of results, and the lads gave us that. We want to see that continue tomorrow.
"We are constantly talking about improvement and we can only get that by picking up good results and by building confidence. I don't want people to drop below the standards that they have set for themselves so we have to make sure that we maintain our momentum as a group.
"I don't want to keep talking about the three below par performances because we are over them now. We've learned from them and we want to move on again. What we want to be talking about is the fact that we are mid-table and we want to build on that.
"Saturday's game is very important because it's the next one for us. I want to get points wrapped up as quickly as possible and every game that comes along gives us a chance to do that. If we get those points then we can start to play without that fear of having to look over our shoulders.
"If we do beat Wycombe then it gives us a little bit more of a gap and it will leave them with a lot to do to catch us. That's an incentive for us and it's something that we are aware of.
"It will probably be a typical League One game. We are expected to go down there and get something out of the game and we have to live up to that. These games aren't easy, and Wycombe will be no different. Wycombe are fighting for their lives and they still have plenty of points to play for themselves. If we aren't right and if we don't do things properly then we will struggle. They will definitely come at us with everything they have got and we will have to deal with it."
A full video interview with the manager will appear on United Player later today.
