Carlisle United fans have been advised that there are likely to be NO ticket sales on the day at Wembley Stadium for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final against Southampton on Sunday 28 March.

With opponents Southampton looking likely to sell out of their 44,000 allocation, Stadium officials have today confirmed that this would prevent 'on the day' ticket sales due to segregation and ticketing issues.

Media officer Andy Hall said: "Ticket sales have gone through 19,000 for us today and that's very encouraging.

"However, we have heard that some of our fans were hoping to purchase a ticket at Wembley Stadium on the day of the game. We strongly advise supporters to purchase their tickets either online, by telephone or here at the ticket office before they travel, to avoid potential disappointment."
