Danny Livesey gave his reaction to the home victory over Gillingham on Saturday evening.
He said: "It's a good result for us, especially after the three games that we have just had where we didn't do ourselves justice.
"It's nice to get back to winning ways and I think it's a result that we thoroughly deserved.
"Defensively we were much better. We had it out after the Hartlepool game and we told each other that it wasn't acceptable. We've worked hard since that game on being solid and on keeping our shape and I think that we looked a lot better.
"We knew it would be a battle because they are below us in the table and they are scrapping for points. We knew we were going to have to be determined and I thought that the front two, Duffy and Dobie, worked really hard defensively as well. That made keeping a clean sheet a lot easier.
"The elbow situation looked bad. I don't know whether he meant it, but you can understand why people got upset about it. Elbows are dangerous, they always are, and there's no place for it in football.
"I enjoyed the game, it went well for us, I thought we all worked really hard. We've got a week where we don't have a game now so we can get ourselves rested and take it into next Saturday and what will be another tough game."
