JPT PUT YOUNG FANS ON THE SPOT

Posted on: Wed 03 Mar 2010

Johnstone's Paints is offering four football crazy children the opportunity to take part in a chance of a lifetime competition.

Two children from Carlisle and two children from Southampton will have the chance to take part in a half-time penalty shoot out competition against the opposing team's mascot at the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium on March 28th.

The competition launches on Monday 22nd February and closes on Monday 15th March, and is open to young fans between the ages of 9 and 12.

To enter participants can go to: www.johnstonespainttrophy.com or pop into their local Johnstone's paint store, pick up an entry form and answer a simple question.

Johnstone's Paint Trophy sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick said: "The crowds will be cheering, the atmosphere will be tremendous and it gives four lucky youngsters the opportunity to step out onto the pitch at Wembley, where so many great players have been before and score against Olga the Fox or Sammy and Super Saint!"

The lucky competition winners will receive their four free tickets to the final, a personalised Carlisle United or Southampton football kit and a club football from Johnstone's Decorating Centre in Carlisle on Monday 22nd March and Johnstone's Decorating Centre in Southampton on Tuesday 23rd March. The next stop will be the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final itself on Sunday 28th March!

The competition is open to both boys and girls and they must be available to travel to Wembley on the day of the final to take part.

Please read the T&C's on the Johnstone's Paint Trophy website before entry.
