Carlisle United striker Scott Dobie was left out of the squad for the trip to Swindon Town this weekend following an injury to the foot picked up during the Huddersfield Town game on Tuesday night.

Dobie, 31, picked up a knock during the second half of the League One fixture and was ruled out of the weekend travel arrangements on Thursday afternoon following consultation with club physio Neil Dalton.

He said: "Scott had heavy bruising around the foot and toe area and it was just too soon for him to be included for today.

"Hopefully it will settle and, if it does, he may be back for the Tuesday night game against Hartlepool."
