Winger Matt Robson scored one and made two in United's pulsating five-goal victory over promotion chasers MK Dons on Saturday, so we sat down with him to get some immediate post-match reaction.
He said: "It was a good game, but we had to earn the right to do it.
"It was a bit difficult for the first 15 minutes because we had a lot of long balls to deal with, so we tried to get the ball to our front two so that we could play behind them. The way we played paid dividends in the end.
"We've gone out and set our stall out and we earned the right to play, and then we played some fantastic stuff.
"With the goal, I thought the defender was going to clear it. Then I thought it was going out for a corner, but it checked up a bit. I took a gamble on it and I probably scored the harder chance than the one I missed!
"For that, I'd made my run and it was always going to come to my right foot. I think it's the hardest I've hit the ball with my that foot in a long time and it sailed over the bar. Thankfully we weren't left to rue that miss.
"We did say at half time that we weren't going to let the lead go this time. We've had a few occasions where that has happened so it was important to start the first 15 minutes of the second half at the right tempo. We managed that and we played some good football.
"It's just as pleasing for me to create a goal as it is to score one. Obviously you like to score, and I probably don't do that enough, but I've had a hand in two and I am very happy with that.
"We now have to push on and get as many points as we can as quickly as we can. It's a vital period of the season and the games are coming every Tuesday and Saturday, so we just have to keep battling the way we are and we'll be alright."
